We accidentally came upon this restaurant. What a wonderful accident! We were hungry for a burger and they had a beautiful sign with a picture of a burger and it prompted us to stop. The diner reminded me of the past, and the food felt the same. Back when a burger was a burger ! Soooooo good. Onion rings and French fries AND coleslaw all so delicious . Highly recommend

Great quick stop for food. There are many options besides poutin. Clean bathroom and very large gravel parking lot if you have a large vehicle or RV. Food was decent diner food. Lots of treats and candy for the kids. Great location off the transcanada, close to the superstore and Walmart. Large eating area outside so great if you have a dog. Huge cheesecake menu as well...which was tempting but portions of the meals are large, so no room left!

I opted for the burger instead of the poutine, but im starting to think I should've got the poutine because this side of gravy is AMAZING. Burgers fantastic too but the gravy!! Also curious about the seafood, they said they catch their own lobsters! I'm not a local but if I'm ever passing through Grand Falls I'll be back at Sandys

I'll start by saying I've never been to this town before, the ladies at Sandy's place are great. Only problem was they have 20 plus poutine options. I got paralyzed with all the choices and went with a club sandwich lmao. Delicious.

Sandy poutine was mighty fine, seafood platter was great too. Just a little too fishy for their clams and scallops; they might've need to make a fresher batch next time. Will also recommend their sandy burger since their poutine is based of that!

Very nice little dinner to stop at. They have so many types of poutine and they also have specials on daily. I had the Italian poutine and my husband had the chicken buffalo I like the sauce they used for my poutine the fries were very thick. My husband wished his had more buffalo sauce as it was to diluted with gravy. Cheesecake were delicious i highly reccomend them.

A great place to eat! Lovely people to greet you when you walk in to taking your order. The food is pretty good, offering a classic canteen taste.
